Game modes

Clash-IT has five ways to play because learning a mechanic, practicing it, and competing on it call for different amounts of pressure.

Tutorial teaches one mechanic at a time through short guided matches. There’s no rank and nothing to lose — it exists purely so the other modes make sense the first time you try them.

VS AI is a full match against a computer opponent, with a difficulty and personality you choose yourself. It counts toward your learning rewards but not toward rank or league — the point is a real match with no one else waiting on you.

Campaign is a set of story missions you play alone, one topic at a time. Your progress on each mission is saved, so you can come back and improve a result later.

Local is hot-seat multiplayer: everyone plays from the same screen, taking turns on one device.

Online is multiplayer where each player is on their own device. Quick Play drops you into an open public room (or creates one if none is open), or you can browse open rooms, create your own room and share its code, or join a room using a code someone shared with you. Inside a room you can play solo or team up with others in a squad.

Local and Online both let you set the question difficulty for the match — see Questions and tiers for what that changes. See Progression for how XP, leagues and Bits work, and which modes count toward them.
