Winning

You (or your squad) win when every other player (or squad) is eliminated — their base destroyed, or their last unit gone with no base left standing. Destroying a player’s base removes their remaining units with it; see Bases and HQ danger.

  • In a squad match, your squad stays in the fight as long as any one member is still alive — losing one member doesn’t end it for the rest.
  • If no player left in the match has a unit — even if bases still stand — the match ends in a draw.
  • A match that reaches round 60 without a winner is decided on a tiebreak: most Brain Power wins; a tie there goes to whoever holds more bases, then more units; a full tie is a draw.

A “turn” here counts a full round — every player getting a turn — not each player’s individual go.

A mission is won by completing its objective, shown when the mission starts. A mission’s objective is one of five kinds, except on a boss map with an enemy HQ, where it’s always to capture the HQ:

Objective What it asks
Capture the enemy HQ Destroy the boss’s base.
Assault Reach a target hex within a turn limit.
Extraction Reach a target hex, against a turn limit only if the mission has an opponent.
Hold Survive a set number of turns.
Eliminate Eliminate the enemy garrison.
Capture Hold a set number of points of interest at the same time, within a turn limit if the mission has an opponent.

A mission fails if your unit is eliminated with nothing left to carry on with, or if a turn limit the objective sets runs out first.
