Progression

Everything that tracks how far you’ve come, in one place.

Playing matches and answering questions correctly earns XP. Your total XP sets your level — each level costs more XP than the last (level 2 needs 25 XP). Online matches earn full XP; VS AI and Campaign matches earn XP too, at a reduced rate, with a Campaign replay earning less than your first clear of a mission. Local and Tutorial matches don’t earn XP. Your level places you on the rank ladder:

Once you reach level 10, you’re placed in a league and compete against a pod of other players for the season. Leagues only track Online multiplayer matches — Tutorial, VS AI, Campaign and Local matches don’t count. Leagues run bronze → silver → gold → diamond:

Tier Promoted Relegated
Bronze top 5 —
Silver top 5 bottom 5
Gold top 3 bottom 5
Diamond — bottom 3

Streaks only track Online matches — Tutorial, VS AI, Campaign and Local matches don’t count. Playing a match at least once a day keeps your daily streak going. Missing a day breaks it, unless you’re holding a streak shield — playing 3 or more matches in a day earns you one, or you can buy one in the Shop — up to 2 at a time, and each shield covers exactly one missed day.

Daily challenges only track Online matches — Tutorial, VS AI, Campaign and Local matches don’t count toward them. Every day you get 3 challenges — one easy, one medium and one hard. Completing one pays bonus XP and Bits, with harder challenges paying more.

Achievements only track Online matches — Tutorial, VS AI, Campaign and Local matches don’t count toward them. Achievements cover combat performance, answering questions correctly, streaks, playing with others, and long-term milestones. Unlocking one awards Bits — see Shop and Bits — with rarer achievements paying more.
